Founder and CEO
Nicolás Cane
Founder and chief executive officer of SATS Capital. Technologist and entrepreneur whose career sits where traditional finance meets digital asset infrastructure.
At Nexbridge he led, together with that firm's team, the first regulated public offering of U.S. Treasury bills in digital form, on Bitcoin technology: USD 30 million placed in 48 hours through Bitfinex Securities, in 2024. It was the most complex transaction carried out up to that time under El Salvador's Digital Assets Issuance Law and a global precedent in real-world asset tokenization.
His career took shape in the Swiss financial sector: he founded and led fintech companies in Europe, with an exit in the algorithmic trading industry in Switzerland, and worked alongside established wealth managers in Lugano, developing wealth management and portfolio optimization strategies for high-net-worth clients.
His practice covers four areas: international financial structuring prior to tokenization, capital and corporate treasury strategies, compliance frameworks for digital asset service providers, and Bitcoin infrastructure and its issuance layers.
At SATS Capital he leads the Structuring Committee and the relationship with institutional investors.
